- 1 tin (400 g) crushed tomatoes

- 1 tsp fennel seeds
Steps
- Brown the sausage in a wide pan, breaking it up, about 8 minutes.
- Add garlic and fennel; cook 1 minute, then the tomatoes.
- Simmer 20 minutes and toss with the pasta and a splash of its water.
